What the DJP Authorization Code Does and How to Obtain It
November 9, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

On 30 October 2025, the Tax Service Office (KPP) Pratama Surakarta received taxpayers seeking clarification on the DJP Authorization Code. Officer Iqbal provided the explanation onsite. The visit aimed to confirm that the code could be activated before filing the 2025 tax return.
The DJP Authorization Code (KO DJP) is a digital signature used to verify a taxpayer’s identity in the Coretax system after logging in. Taxpayers obtain it by accessing the ‘My Portal’ menu, selecting ‘Authorization Code/E‑Certificate Request’, and validating through ‘My Profile’ until the ‘Generate’ button becomes active. If a failure message appears, the request can be resubmitted through the same portal.
Activating the KO DJP ensures the 2025 tax return can be filed online without interruption. Direct assistance at the KPP and official tutorials on .id and the Directorate General of Taxes’ YouTube channel support the digital transformation and public confidence.
