Yaspendhar Medan Launches Tax Center under MoU with DJP Sumut I

Yaspendhar Medan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the North Sumatra I Tax Office on Tuesday, 9 December 2025. The agreement establishes the Yaspendhar Tax Center, which will operate under the guidance of the tax office.

The head of the North Sumatra I Tax Office, Arridel Mindra, said the Tax Center will act as a strategic partner for the tax authority by delivering education and outreach to taxpayers, and it can run programs independently. He emphasized that activities should involve university students and lecturers, especially from Universitas Harapan Medan.

The collaboration aims to raise tax awareness and compliance through jointly developed work programs. After the signing, a public lecture titled “Young Generation Tax‑Aware for a Prosperous Indonesia” was held, followed by the inauguration of the Tax Center office.
