Palu Tax Office Holds Tax Inclusion Workshop for Artists

The Palu Tax Office (KPP Pratama Palu) accepted an invitation from the Central Sulawesi Lobo Arts Community to hold a Tax Inclusion and Arts Budget Management Workshop on 20 August 2025 at the Ballroom of Hotel Helsinki in Palu. The event gathered ten representatives from arts institutions in Palu and other regions.
The workshop aimed to raise artists’ awareness of tax obligations and proper budget management. Tax officer M Firmansyah Firdausi explained that the Ministry of Finance applies the Net Income Calculation Standard (Norma Penghitungan Penghasilan Neto, NPPN) as stipulated in Director‑General of Tax Regulation No. Per‑17/PJ/2015.
The Palu Tax Office expects the outreach to enable artists to fulfill tax duties accurately and efficiently. Participants asked numerous questions, showing strong interest in the tax rules. The initiative supports fiscal inclusion of the creative sector.
