DJP East Java II Holds Tax Center Forum to Boost SPT via Coretax

The East Java II regional tax office held the 2025 Tax Center Forum on 14 October 2025 in its main hall. Representatives from all partner universities and DJP officials attended the event. The forum aimed to strengthen collaboration for preparing annual Tax Return (SPT) filings through the Coretax system.
In his opening remarks, Head of Public Relations Heru Susilo highlighted tax centers as strategic partners that provide training, research and tax outreach, including experiential learning for students. He noted the Volunteer Tax for the Nation (Renjani) program and the forthcoming Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) for tax centers, which will take effect in 2027. Deputy Head of Taxpayer Partnership Ikhwanudin added that DJP will focus on educating taxpayers about Coretax usage.
The forum emphasized tax centers’ role in enhancing the skills of students and lecturers and encouraged cooperation with professional bodies such as the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association. Awards were presented to several universities and volunteers for outstanding performance. These initiatives are expected to raise taxpayer awareness and improve SPT compliance for the 2026 tax year.
