Tax Service Center Receives 1,766 Taxpayer Complaints in 2024

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) reported that the Kring Pajak contact center received a total of 1,766 taxpayer complaints throughout 2024. Complaints were submitted via telephone, email, and the official tax website.
The volume represents a 36.77 % decline from 2,793 complaints in 2023, with the majority (1,464) coming through the 1500200 phone line, followed by 296 via email and six through the tax portal. Each case is forwarded to the responsible unit through the Tax Complaint Information System (SIPP) or resolved directly by the call‑center agents.
The reduced number of complaints and an average eight‑day resolution time reflect improved efficiency in public tax services, in line with the mandates of Law No 25/2009 on Public Service and Director‑General Regulation No PER‑07/PJ/2019 on complaint handling procedures.
