Two Ways to Register a Coretax DJP Account
October 13, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

The Directorate General of Taxes’ contact centre, Kring Pajak, announced on Monday, 13 October 2025, two registration methods for taxpayers who have never accessed Coretax. The statement was issued from Jakarta.
Taxpayers without an existing DJP Online account can register by selecting the Activate Account menu on the Coretax website. Those who already have a DJP Online account may create a Coretax account via the Forgot Password option. When registration succeeds, an Account Issuance Letter containing the initial password is emailed to the taxpayer, and detailed guidance is posted on the Coretaxpedia site.
Annual tax return filing for the 2025 tax year will be conducted entirely through the Coretax system starting in 2026. Around 14 million taxpayers—10 million individuals and 4 million entities—are expected to file via Coretax. Therefore, taxpayers have time to prepare their accounts and avoid technical issues during filing.
