The North Sumatra Tax Office (DJP) issued a warning on 28 October 2025 urging the public to be cautious of fake links or websites that claim to be the Coretax DJP application. The statement was delivered by Lusi Yuliani, Head of Outreach, Services, and Public Relations, in an official briefing.
Unofficial links have been spreading on social media, including through messaging apps that direct users to download counterfeit Coretax DJP versions. DJP clarified that the legitimate application is only reachable via the official website . and is not available on any app store.
Avoiding these fraudulent links helps taxpayers safeguard personal and tax information. DJP also reminded that all tax services are free, recommends enabling two‑factor authentication, and provides the tax helpline 1500200 for verification.
