How to File Annual Income Tax 2025 via Coretax

Jakarta – Beginning with tax year 2025, all annual income tax (PPh) returns must be filed through the Coretax platform operated by the Directorate General of Taxes. The filing window opens according to the annual schedule announced by the DG.

Taxpayers need to complete three main steps: activate a Coretax account, obtain a DJP authorization code or an electronic certificate, and validate the code or certificate. Activation requires a 16‑digit NPWP linked to population data, and the authorization code is created with a passphrase of at least eight characters containing uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols.

When these steps are finished, taxpayers can submit their returns electronically, ensuring smoother compliance and enhanced data security.
