How to Download Electronic NPWP After Coretax Account Activation

The Kring Pajak contact centre of the Directorate General of Taxes explained on Thursday, 27 November 2025, the procedure to download an electronic NPWP via the Coretax portal. The download is available once taxpayers have activated their Coretax account.

The Coretax account must be activated first; after logging in, taxpayers navigate to My Portal → My Documents → Generate document and then download the NPWP card. Taxpayers who meet both subjective requirements (as defined in the Income Tax Law) and objective requirements (earning income or subject to withholding) must register at a DJP office to obtain an NPWP.

The NPWP serves as a unique taxpayer identifier and helps maintain orderly tax payments and supervision. Taxpayers who fail to register may face penalties under tax regulations.
