How OP Without NPWP but with NIK Can Become Coretax PIC
November 2, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

The Directorate General of Taxes’ contact centre, Kring Pajak, outlined on 2 November 2025 the registration process for an individual without an NPWP but whose NIK is already matched in Coretax to become the Person in Charge (PIC) of a corporate tax account. Even without an NPWP, the individual can act as PIC after activating their personal Coretax login.
The individual must first activate their personal Coretax account, then log into the corporate Coretax portal, navigate to My Portal → My Profile → General Information → Edit, and under the Related Parties submenu add or modify a PIC by selecting ‘related person’ and checking the ‘Is PIC?’ option. After completing all required data, the user confirms the statement and clicks Submit.
This procedure allows taxpayers lacking an NPWP to manage corporate tax obligations through Coretax, supporting the objectives of the Tax Administration Core System Upgrade Project (PSIAP) mandated by Presidential Regulation No 40/2018. Implemented on a Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) platform, the system aims to streamline tax administration and data integrity.
