How a Wife Can Access DJP Coretax Account via Husband’s NPWP
November 10, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

The DJP contact centre (Kring Pajak) issued guidance on 10 November 2025 on how a wife may access a DJP Coretax account using her husband’s NPWP. The information was posted on the agency’s official social media channels.
When the wife is already listed in the husband’s Family Tax Unit (FTU), she can activate an account by selecting the activation option on the Coretax website. If she is not in the FTU or has never held an NPWP, she must register a new Coretax account with the “registration only” choice and verify that her status is listed as a dependent and that any previous NPWP is inactive.
These procedures follow Article 5 of PER‑7/PJ/2025, which defines the Data of Family Members (DUK), and Article 8 of the Income Tax Law that treats the family as a single economic unit. Nevertheless, spouses may be taxed separately if they live apart by court decision, have a written asset‑separation agreement, or the wife elects to manage her own tax obligations, creating a separate DUK.
