TGTS 2025: FIA UI and Boost Tax Awareness Among Students

The Community Service Division of KOSTAF, Faculty of Fiscal Administration, University of Indonesia, partnered with to launch Tax Goes to School (TGTS) 2025. The program featured an infographic and video competition, a roadshow, and a webinar reaching primary to high school students across Indonesia in late October 2025.

The competition, called Competaxtion, attracted 162 individual participants and 79 teams, producing winners such as infographic champion Syaza Malihah Azahra from SMAN 1 Sidoarjo. The roadshow visited six schools in Jakarta and two schools outside the capital, supported by 80 student volunteers from FIA UI. The TaxTalk webinar drew 100 students and included speakers from TMF Group and FIA UI alumni.

TGTS aims to improve the still‑negative perception of taxes and foster compliance through creative digital media. The initiative offers learning experiences for students and practical involvement for volunteers, expected to raise tax awareness among the younger generation.
