DJP Banten Holds Coretax Webinar for Tax Volunteers 2026

The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) regional office in Banten held a Coretax briefing on 26 November 2025. The session was conducted online and involved the National Tax Volunteer (Renjani) network and representatives from university tax centers across Banten.

The briefing aimed to prepare prospective tax volunteers for the individual annual tax return filing of fiscal year 2025, which will be submitted in 2026. About 100 participants attended, and the tax office set a target that at least ten volunteers activate Coretax accounts and obtain a DJP authorization code.

DJP data show that only 3.32 million taxpayers (22.53 %) had activated Coretax accounts out of the 14.78 million taxpayers who filed the 2024 annual returns. The training seeks to increase volunteer involvement and facilitate a smoother filing process in 2026.
