Q3 2025 Economy Grows 5.04 Percent, Says Finance Minister

Jakarta, 6 November 2025 – The Ministry of Finance said Indonesia’s economy expanded by 5.04 percent in the third quarter of 2025. The growth reflects strong domestic demand, solid export performance and resilient investment. Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa highlighted the result.

Purbaya explained that effective management of the State Budget (APBN) provided fiscal support by placing Rp200 trillion of state cash to ensure adequate liquidity. Household consumption rose 4.89 percent, driven by higher fuel purchases, transport tickets and increased electronic money and debit/credit card transactions. Gross fixed capital formation grew 5.04 percent, with machinery investment surging 17 percent due to production modernization.

The government targets a 5.2 percent annual growth rate and will continue coordinated fiscal, financial sector and investment‑friendly policies to achieve high, stable and inclusive growth. The focus will shift to accelerating growth drivers in the fourth quarter of 2025. These measures aim to sustain broader welfare for the population.
