The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that Indonesia’s inflation rate in November 2025 was 2.72 percent. The figures were released in Jakarta on 1 December 2025.
Inflation fell from 2.86 percent in October 2025 but rose sharply compared with 1.55 percent in November 2024. The increase was driven by the food, beverage and tobacco group, which posted a 4.25 percent rise, led by red chili, rice, fresh fish and chicken eggs, while gold jewelry also contributed to price pressure.
Higher prices for essential commodities may increase household expenditure and affect consumer purchasing power. BPS will continue to monitor price components to support monetary and fiscal policy decisions.
