Indonesia Trade Balance Surplus 33.48 Billion US Dollars 2025

Indonesia's Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded a trade surplus of 33.48 billion US dollars in the goods balance for the period January to September 2025. This surplus is 11.30 billion dollars higher than the same period in 2024.

The increase stems from non‑oil exports that grew 8.14 % year‑on‑year, led by the processed‑industry sector whose export value reached 167.85 billion US dollars, up 17.02 %. China, the United States and India were the top three destinations, together accounting for 41.81 % of non‑oil exports.

The surplus marks the 65th consecutive month since May 2020 and reflects higher domestic production and investment activity, indicated by a 19.13 % rise in capital‑goods imports.
