Indonesia Investment Reaches Rp1.4343 Trillion Jan‑Sept 2025

The Ministry of Investment (BKPM) recorded total investment of Rp1.4343 trillion in Indonesia for January‑September 2025. This represents a 13.7 % year‑on‑year increase and reaches 75.3 % of the national target of Rp1.9056 trillion.

Domestic investment (PMDN) accounted for Rp789.7 trillion (55.1 %) and foreign investment (PMA) for Rp644.6 trillion (44.9 %). In the first nine months, the inflows generated 1,956,346 jobs, with 51.7 % of the investment located outside Java.

The result signals growing investor confidence in Indonesia’s business climate and contributes to national employment. Continued momentum could fulfill the remaining 2025 target and bolster overall economic growth.
