The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded that Indonesiaâs economy expanded 5.04 percent yearâonâyear (YoY) in the third quarter of 2025. The figures were released on 5 November 2025 and reflect a solid recovery.
Growth was driven by three leading sectors: education services rose 10.59 percent, corporate services 9.94 percent, and other services 9.92 percent compared with the same period a year earlier. The processing industry contributed the largest share, adding 1.13 percent to overall growth, followed by trade (0.72 percent) and informationâcommunication (0.63 percent).
Strong performance in processing, especially foodâbeverage and basic metal industries, indicates rising domestic demand and export orders. This suggests a positive momentum for the economy and potential further expansion in the next quarter.
