Tax Exchange Rate 29 Oct‑4 Nov 2025 Shows Rupiah Weakening

Jakarta, 29 October 2025 – The government, via Finance Minister Decree No 22/MK/EF.2/2025, set the tax exchange rates for the period 29 October to 4 November 2025. These rates are used for settling VAT, luxury goods tax and import duties.

During this week the rupiah weakened to Rp16,614 per US dollar, up from Rp16,581 the week before. It also fell to Rp12,803.22 per Singapore dollar and Rp19,303.87 per euro.

The rates are applied to settle VAT and import duties; the yen rate is quoted per 100 yen. The exchange‑rate shift can affect the tax amount payable by taxpayers.
