October 20, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

On 20 October 2025, the South Jakarta Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP Jakarta Selatan I and II) entered a partnership with the South Jakarta Administration to intensify education on Coretax (electronic tax filing system) and to launch tax data exchange. The initiative targets both individual and corporate taxpayers in the district.
Kanwil DJP Jaksel II head Dwi Astuti confirmed that all Tax Service Offices (KPP) are ready to support Coretax implementation, including training on the latest tax regulations, operating service booths, and sharing data with the city. Mayor M. Anwar also voiced support, highlighting the importance of inter‑agency collaboration for better tax compliance.
By improving taxpayer understanding and access to services, compliance is expected to rise, boosting both central and regional tax revenues and strengthening the State Budget (APBN). Authorities view the program as a step toward greater transparency and efficiency in tax administration.
