Palembang City launches tax waiver and PBB-P2 discount 2025

Palembang City has launched a tax penalty waiver and PBB-P2 discount program running from November 2 to December 30 2025. The initiative targets property owners in both urban and rural areas.

During the period, the principal of PBB-P2 can be reduced by up to 100 % for assessment years 2002‑2019 and a 50 % discount applies to years 2020‑2024, provided taxpayers settle their 2025 PBB-P2 bill first. The waiver also covers penalties for ten local taxes such as BPHTB, advertising tax, and PBJT.

The city expects the measure to boost tax compliance and increase its own-source revenue while allowing taxpayers to fulfill obligations without penalty burdens. Payments are accepted via banks, post offices, and digital channels like Tokopedia and OnPAYS.
