LTO Regional Office Trains 53 Financial Firms on PP 49/2022

The LTO regional office of the Directorate General of Taxes held an education session on 27 October 2025 in Jakarta for 100 participants representing 53 financial‑sector companies on Government Regulation No. 49 of 2022 (PP 49/2022).

PP 49/2022, effective 12 December 2022, exempts VAT on certain financial services and sets out invoicing rules, including batch tax invoices. The training covered these provisions, required documentation and offered a hotline for follow‑up queries.

Better understanding is expected to lower the risk of administrative penalties and improve tax compliance, with the tax authority providing ongoing assistance.
