On 7 November 2025, the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) sent official reminder emails to taxpayers who still owe taxes to the state treasury. The messages were distributed as an email blast to all identified defaulters.

DJP clarified that the emails are only reminders, not active collection actions such as warning or enforcement letters. Official emails always use the .id domain, never request payment to personal accounts, and do not contain links to external sites.

These guidelines help taxpayers avoid fraud and facilitate tax administration; taxpayers who are unsure can call the Kring Pajak hotline at 1500200 or visit the nearest tax office.
