DJBC Reorganizes Work Areas After Designating 39 Intl. Airports

The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) issued Decision KEP-200/BC/2025 to arrange the work area of its vertical agency concerning the designation of international and special airports. The decision took effect on 14 October 2025 and was announced on 27 October 2025.
The arrangement follows the Ministry of Transportationâs designation of 36 public airports and 3 special airports as international, and is backed by a recommendation from the Finance Ministryâs Secretary General in Memorandum No. ND-1104/SJ/2025. The reorganization aims to strengthen DJBCâs role and performance in customs service and supervision at international airports, facilitating smoother goods flow and tax compliance. Implementation begins on 14 October 2025 as part of interâministerial coordination.
