October 28, 2025 âą Ben Asmadeus

In October 2025, Indonesiaâs Directorate General of Customs conducted onâsite validation for several firms, including PT Bimaruna Jaya, PT Silkargo Indonesia, PT ZTE Indonesia, PT DSI Underground and PT Lyondellbasell Advanced Polyolefins. The validation was carried out by the central AEO validator team together with the Tanjung Perak Customs Office and the Bekasi Customs Office during a visit to PT Yusen Logistics Puninar Indonesia.
The purpose of the validation is to assess each companyâs business processes and compliance with Ministry of Finance Regulation No. 137 of 2023, which governs the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification. Onâsite checks help Customs and stakeholders understand logistics flows, allowing firms to apply for AEO status under the streamlined sevenâcriterion framework.
AEO certification enhances a companyâs credibility and trust in global trade, reduces customs clearance time, and strengthens the competitiveness of logistics operators. Customsâ support is intended to smooth business operations and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
