Coretax Auto‑Fills Employee and UMKM Data for 2026 Tax Returns

The Surabaya Sukomanunggal tax office reminded taxpayers that from the 2026 tax year individual annual returns must be filed using the Coretax application, which replaces DJPOnline. The notice was issued on 28 October 2025. Coretax will automatically populate data for employees and UMKM operators.

The pre‑populated feature pulls PPh 21 information reported by employers and monthly final tax (PPh Final) payments made by UMKM, eliminating the need for manual income entry. It shifts the taxpayer’s role from data entry to data verification. The procedure is mandated by Regulation PER‑11/2025.

Automation is expected to simplify filing, lower input errors, and improve tax data accuracy. Taxpayers must still review and add items not captured automatically, such as assets, debts, or other income. The requirement applies to all individual taxpayers.
