Customs Revenue Reaches Rp221.3 Trillion, Up 7.1% to 2025

The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) reported customs and excise revenue of Rp221.3 trillion through the end of September 2025, a 7.1 % increase over the same period last year. The rise reflects stronger foreign‑trade activity in the first three quarters of the year.

Revenue reached 73.4 % of the 2025 State Budget target, driven by higher imports of capital goods and investment and stable tobacco production. By September 2025, Customs had seized 816 million illegal cigarettes—mainly machine‑made kretek and white cigarettes without tax stamps—and 11.1 tons of narcotics, primarily methamphetamine and cannabis.

The results highlight Customs’ strategic role in supporting fiscal goals and safeguarding the national economy from smuggled goods. The achievement stems from intensive collaboration among Customs, relevant ministries and law‑enforcement agencies.
