The Bali Regional Tax Office reported tax receipts of IDR 11.64 trillion through September 2025. This amount equals 64.71% of the annual target of IDR 17.99 trillion. The figure represents a 10.40% increase compared with the same period last year.

Eight Tax Service Offices contributed, with the Denpasar Main Office (KPP Madya) accounting for the largest share at IDR 5.86 trillion. Income Tax (PPh) was the main contributor with IDR 8.03 trillion, followed by Value‑Added Tax (VAT) and Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM) at IDR 3.09 trillion. Growth was driven by higher taxpayer compliance and a rebound in the accommodation and food‑service sector, which rose 26.30%.

The result indicates improved tax compliance and economic recovery in Bali, especially in tourism‑related activities. The office urges taxpayers to activate their Coretax accounts ahead of the 2025 annual income‑tax return filing, which will be digital in 2026. Early preparation is intended to ensure a smooth transition to the new electronic filing system.
