West Sulawesi BPKPD Places Warning Stickers on Tax‑Delinquent

West Sulawesi BPKPD, together with Satpol PP and the fire department, affixed warning stickers on vehicles that had not paid tax or used DC plates at the government office area on 25 October 2025. The operation took place in Mamuju, the provincial capital.
Dermawan, head of the Regional Regulation Enforcement Division, said the stickers serve as a warning to owners, including of official vehicles, that have not renewed their motor vehicle tax or are using non‑DC plates. The joint team inspected all parked vehicles and applied the stickers as a formal notice.
He expects the measure to boost regional tax revenue and set an example for other civil servants, helping the province achieve more independent financial management despite limited central government funding. The increased revenue is intended to support regional development programs.
