Sorong Tax Office Launches Door-to-Door Coretax Activation for

The Sorong Tax Office and KP2KP Teminabuan conducted a door‑to‑door service from 1 to 3 October 2025 to assist government taxpayers in Sorong Selatan in activating their DJP Coretax accounts. The outreach targeted civil servants, contract government employees, and staff of regional work units.

During the three‑day period, tax teams visited the Regional Financial Management and Asset Agency, the Public Works Department, and the Health Department of Sorong Selatan, activating nearly 150 individual taxpayers and issuing electronic certificates. Acting Health Department Head Moses Blessia praised the initiative and urged all employees to take advantage of the service.

Tax officials emphasized that taxpayers who missed the visit can still go to the nearest tax office for Coretax activation, ensuring a smooth transition to the new reporting system for the 2025 tax return. The effort aims to improve tax compliance in Papua by providing easier access to filing services.
