Jambi Province Conducts Vehicle Raid to Clear PKB Tax Arrears

Jambi Province together with BPPRD, Samsat, Ditlantas Polda Jambi and Jasa Raharja carried out a raid on motor vehicle tax arrears (PKB) on several streets in the city of Jambi from 19 October to 25 November 2025. The operation covered seven strategic points in the city.

The raid involved police checking vehicle documents and BPPRD officers verifying tax status. Officers also promoted the vehicle tax amnesty program that remains valid until 22 December 2025. In addition to collecting overdue taxes, the raid recorded vehicles that have not been transferred or still bear out‑of‑province plates.

The initiative aims to regularize vehicle administration, boost Jambi's own‑source revenue, and raise taxpayer awareness that paid taxes fund regional development. Authorities emphasized an educational approach rather than punitive enforcement.
