Tax DG Visits Makassar Office to Hear Coretax Feedback

On 5 November 2025, Tax DG Bimo Wijayanto inspected the Makassar North Tax Office. The visit aimed to verify SOP compliance and hear taxpayers’ direct experiences with the Coretax system.

Coretax is a new tax administration system intended to boost efficiency, accuracy and transparency. The Ministry of Finance’s IT team, led by Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, is refining the user interface and strengthening cybersecurity after identifying isolated errors. These upgrades aim to reduce data‑leak risks and speed up processing.

The inspection and ongoing enhancements reflect DJP’s commitment to better service quality and taxpayer confidence. An effective Coretax could make filing and payment faster and more accurate, supporting national fiscal compliance.
