Majalengka Civil Servants Must Pay Vehicle Tax On Time

On 8 November 2025, the Majalengka Regency Government in West Java launched the Vehicle Motor Tax Integrity Zone (Zonita Pamor) program. The initiative requires all civil servants (ASN) in the regency to pay motor vehicle tax on time.

Regent Eman Suherman said civil servants must set an example of tax compliance for the public. Regional Revenue Agency head Rachmat Gunandar confirmed that circular letters have been sent to every department, district and village.

Bapenda data show 2,959 vehicles owned by ASN still have arrears, amounting to IDR 9.12 billion. The program aims to reduce outstanding tax and improve overall vehicle tax compliance in the region.
