Coretax Simplifies Tax Billing Code Creation

Indonesia’s Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) introduced Coretax, an online tax‑administration core system, in 2025. The platform enables taxpayers to generate billing codes digitally via the official portal.

Coretax offers three billing‑code creation options: codes linked to tax returns (SPT), codes for tax notices such as Tax Assessment Notices (STP) or Tax Shortfall Notices (SKPKB), and self‑service codes unrelated to returns or notices. All codes are generated automatically, eliminating manual entry of tax amounts, deposit types, or tax periods and thus reducing errors.

Each billing code remains valid for seven days and can be regenerated if it expires. This functionality speeds up payments, improves data accuracy, and advances Indonesia’s digital tax‑administration agenda.
