The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) announced that the right to issue tax invoices will be deactivated for taxpayers who are not compliant with incomeātax obligations, according to Rosmauli, Director of Tax Dissemination, Services and Public Relations. The deactivation is enforced through the Coretax system, which integrates compliance data.
This measure is part of a holistic strategy to strengthen taxāadministration governance and boost overall tax revenue. Linking incomeātax compliance to invoice issuance is intended to motivate timely filing and payment.
Taxpayers who lose invoiceāissuing rights must settle their incomeātax liabilities to regain access, which may affect their ability to conduct taxable transactions. The policy highlights the need for comprehensive compliance by businesses and its impact on the state budget.
