MIND ID Wins ESG Sectoral Champion Award 2025 for Sustainable

Indonesia’s Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) was awarded the ESG Sectoral Champion Award 2025 at the Investortrust ESG Awards ceremony in Jakarta on 27 October 2025. The award recognises the company’s implementation of sustainable operational practices across its business units.

The Investortrust ESG Awards evaluate corporations that integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into their strategies. MIND ID was judged to have improved energy efficiency, managed ESG risks effectively, and provided adequate disclosure of information. It also demonstrated financial performance stability and adaptability to stock‑market changes over the past year.

The accolade underscores MIND ID’s commitment to a low‑carbon mining transformation, with a target to cut energy consumption and greenhouse‑gas emissions by 21.4 % by 2030. In 2023 the group used 48,000 terajoules of energy and emitted 4,100 kilotonnes of CO₂‑equivalent, figures projected to rise without the efficiency program, highlighting relevance for investors and the broader economy.
