Indonesia Investment Hits Rp150.6 Trillion Up 64.6 percent Q3

The Ministry of Investment and the Coordinating Investment Board (BKPM) recorded downstream investment of Rp150.6 trillion in the third quarter of 2025. The amount rose 64.6 percent year‑on‑year and represented 30.6 percent of total national investment, which amounted to Rp491.4 trillion.
The mineral sector contributed the most with Rp97.8 trillion, of which nickel accounted for Rp42 trillion. Plantation and forestry investments reached Rp35.9 trillion, while oil‑and‑gas and fisheries added Rp15.4 trillion and Rp1.5 trillion respectively. Central Sulawesi led the regional distribution with Rp28.7 trillion in investment.
Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani said the rise demonstrates the impact of government policies to strengthen high‑value‑added industries, especially the electric‑vehicle battery supply chain reliant on nickel. An integrated ecosystem from mining to battery recycling is now in place, enhancing Indonesia’s global competitiveness. The figures provide a benchmark for businesses planning future investments.
