The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) provided assistance to local SMEs aiming to export their products to international markets. The assistance was carried out on 26 October 2025 and included both online and offline activities. The focus was on SMEs in South Sulawesi, Sidoarjo, and Ambon.

DJBC’s Public Relations and Outreach Deputy, Budi Prasetiyo, said the support consists of webinars, one‑on‑one meetings, seminars, and on‑site visits to businesses. The agency collaborates with the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of MSMEs, and regional governments to present export‑facilitation programs, delivery‑term procedures, re‑stuffing and fumigation coordination, and export‑declaration filing via CEISA 4.0. In South Sulawesi, officials also led a focus‑group discussion on green‑economy‑based SME growth strategies.

With this assistance, DJBC aims to ensure local SMEs can enter global markets without significant obstacles. The initiative is expected to encourage more SMEs to pursue exports, thereby boosting regional economies. It reflects coordinated efforts between central and local authorities to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian products.
