WhatsApp Number for Pak Purbaya Team to Verify Complaints

JAKARTA, 24 October 2025 – The Pak Purbaya complaint team will contact reporters via WhatsApp 0815‑9966‑662 to verify submitted reports. The measure follows Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa’s remark that some complaints could not be processed because reporters were unreachable.

Many reporters are hesitant to answer calls from unknown numbers, prompting the team to launch a single official WhatsApp line for clarification. The number is used solely for confirmation, and callers are advised to ignore any other contacts. To date, the Lapor Pak Purbaya channel has received 28,390 messages, of which 14,025 have been verified, including 722 tax or customs related.

Among the verified messages, 437 reports have been selected for follow‑up, comprising 239 issues with the Tax Authority and 198 with the Customs and Excise Agency. This verification aims to accelerate resolution for taxpayers and service users. The initiative reflects the government’s effort to improve its complaint handling system.
