Tax Office Pinrang Urges ASN to Activate Coretax via WhatsApp

The Pinrang Tax Office, in partnership with the Pinrang Regency Civil Service Agency, sent a WhatsApp blast on 21 October 2025 urging civil servants (ASN) to activate their Coretax DJP accounts. The message was distributed en masse to all ASN in the region.

Coretax is the Directorate General of Taxes’ online platform for annual tax return filing, and activation simplifies compliance for ASN. Officer Lia stressed that activation must be done through official channels and warned ASN not to trust suspicious links received via email or SMS. BKPSDM Secretary Yahya Wadud expressed full support for the collaboration to improve tax compliance.

With BKPSDM backing, tax information can reach ASN quickly and accurately, enabling them to serve as compliance role models for the community. The WhatsApp approach is expected to accelerate tax education in workplaces and lower the risk of fraud.
