Tax Authority Visits Jambi Police to Boost Compliance Oversight

The West Sumatra and Jambi regional tax office visited the Jambi Police headquarters on 12 August 2025. The delegation was led by Regional Head Arif Mahmudin Zuhri and accompanied by the heads of Jambi Telanaipura and Pelayangan tax offices, Edi Sihar Tambunan and Subandiyono.

The discussion covered strategies of extensification (broadening the tax base) and intensification (deepening compliance of existing taxpayers), and highlighted the use of cross‑agency data to monitor taxpayer compliance. Enforcement of tax violations was also emphasized, with police support seen as a key pillar.

Both parties agreed to maintain ongoing operational coordination, including tax education, assistance, and protection of strategic activities, aiming to stabilize tax revenue and expand fiscal space for development in Jambi Province.
