Purbaya Says Coretax Fix Won’t Be Completed Within a Month

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the Coretax administration system faces issues that cannot be resolved quickly. The government has fixed problems it could handle internally, but some remain due to a contract with vendor LG.

He identified four layers of trouble: the upper layer affected by Telkom’s internet link, the middle layer plagued by session and cookie mismanagement and lack of CDN, the programming layer causing red error pop‑ups, and the operational layer producing error‑500 messages and slow data display. For now, Telkom traffic has been rerouted to Lintasarta and a CDN with an application‑focused firewall has been deployed.

Purbaya expects the fixes to be completed by January or February 2026 after the vendor contract ends and stresses that future systems will rely on domestic vendors.
