P2SP Task Force Monitors Budget Execution, Targets 5.2% Growth

Jakarta, Oct 28, 2025 – The Economic Coordinating Ministry announced that the Government Strategic Programs Acceleration Task Force (P2SP) will monitor budget execution of each ministry and agency for 2025. The oversight began after the task force was formally established last week and was presented by Deputy I Ferry Irawan at the 100 Indonesian Economists Forum.

Irawan said the government will review each ministry’s allocation and, if targets are missed, the State Treasurer can reallocate the unused funds to other ministries with ready programs. Task Force P2SP, through Working Group 1, is responsible for assessing budget efficiency, identifying bottlenecks (debottlenecking), and providing regulatory support and legal action when needed.

Deputy I projected Indonesia’s economy could accelerate to 5.2 % growth in Q3‑Q4 2025, up from 5.12 % in Q2. He highlighted that inter‑agency synergy and central‑local coordination are essential to sustain momentum and meet the President’s 2029 growth target.
