KPP Surakarta Hosts Coretax Workshop, Tax Filing as Easy as Media

The KPP Pratama Surakarta held a Coretax education session from September to the end of October 2025 in its auditorium. The event targeted dozens of taxpayers to learn how to complete the 2025 Annual Income Tax Return (SPT PPh). It was led by Service Section Head Puji Harsiwi.

Coretax is a digital platform slated to replace the traditional SPT filing system from 2026, making the process comparable to scrolling a timeline on social media. Puji emphasized that the platform is part of the Directorate General of Taxation’s digital reform to boost speed, transparency, and ease of use. Tax educator Zaima demonstrated the filing steps using the intranet‑based Mass Training Application (MTA) and participants performed hands‑on practice.

The workshop aims to boost taxpayers’ ability to file returns independently and lower reliance on direct assistance. With better Coretax understanding, filing is expected to become more integrated and efficient for all taxpayers. KPP urged participants to continue learning via official DJP channels.
