Judging Starts for 90 DDTCNews 2025 Writing Entries

JAKARTA – The DDTCNews 2025 tax writing competition has entered the judging phase. Ninety participant articles have been published on the DDTCNews platform. Jury evaluation runs from 3 to 10 November 2025.

A total of 458 submissions were received by 30 August, of which 90 were selected for publication during September‑October. The competition theme, “Promoting Balanced Economic Growth and Tax Revenue,” reflects Indonesia’s challenge of fostering rapid growth while maintaining sustainable state revenue. Students contributed the largest share at 43.3 %, followed by central government civil servants at 20.0 % and private‑sector employees at 14.8 %.

Judges assess writing technique, argument sharpness, narrative clarity, article hits and timeliness of submission. From the 90 entries, 40 winners will be chosen and announced on 17 November 2025. Winning works will be compiled into the book series “Tax Reform Ideas,” published by DDTC.
