The Indonesian government reported that the tax‑funded free health check program has served at least 38 million people since its launch on 10 February 2025. The service is offered at public health centers nationwide and can be accessed on each beneficiary’s birthday.

The checks cover newborns from two days old, pregnant women, school‑age children and seniors, including physical fitness, vision, blood pressure and immunisation status. A budget of Rp4.7 trillion was allocated from the 2025 state budget health line, while taxes provide roughly 70 % of total government revenue.

President Prabowo Subianto described the initiative as a flagship program that will be expanded, aligning with the 2025 short‑term fiscal strategy to improve health quality. Reaching 38 million participants demonstrates the use of tax revenue for public health services.
