Finance Minister Receives Rp13.255 Trillion CPO Loss Compensation

Finance Minister (State Treasurer) Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa formally received state loss compensation of Rp13.255 trillion linked to the Crude Palm Oil (CPO) export corruption case. The handover was made by Attorney General Burhanuddin at the main building of the Attorney General’s Office on 20 October 2025.

The amount represents a portion of the estimated total loss of Rp17 trillion in the CPO case. President Prabowo Subianto attended the ceremony and praised the Attorney General’s Office for recovering the funds.

The government plans to allocate the recovered funds to development projects such as school renovations and the construction of fishing villages. Officials note that further enforcement actions are needed in other natural‑resource sectors.
