Finance Minister Purbaya Vows to Remove Business Barriers, Boost

JAKARTA, DDTCNews – Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa affirmed his commitment to tackle the obstacles frequently faced by businesses in Indonesia. He said the initiative aims to boost private sector performance and support economic growth.

Purbaya explained that his ministry will gather business aspirations, pinpoint issues, and remove barriers through a debottlenecking process. He will also receive weekly complaints and lead a task‑force working group that addresses these concerns.

The newly formed Government Strategic Program Acceleration Task Force, consisting of three working groups, is expected to improve the business climate and attract more investment. The effort should reduce bureaucratic hurdles and speed up priority program implementation.
