Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa told reporters in Jakarta on 4 November 2025 that Indonesia’s economy is projected to grow 5.5 % year‑on‑year in the fourth quarter of 2025. The target is expected to be achieved through coordinated policies among ministries and agencies.
He made the remarks at the regular meeting of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK), which includes the Governor of Bank Indonesia, the head of OJK, and the head of LPS. Purbaya highlighted the need to preserve financial‑system stability and monitor global risks, noting that the IMF has raised its 2025 global growth forecast to 3.2 %.
The outlook reflects continued fiscal and monetary support, as well as steady household consumption and investment, which could boost income and business opportunities throughout the year.
