East Java Tax Office Holds Tax Center Forum to Promote Annual

On 15 October 2025, the East Java II Tax Office (DJP) organized a tax‑center forum in Sidoarjo. The event gathered the heads of tax centers from 25 partner universities in the region.

Heru Susil, head of Outreach, Service, and Public Relations, highlighted the tax center’s role in raising awareness of tax rights and obligations. He explained that tax centers serve as hubs for research, training, and tax outreach using experiential learning, giving students practical experience. The forum also reviewed the Relawan Pajak untuk Negeri (Renjani) volunteer program.

Going forward, tax centers are tasked with supporting the 2025 Annual Tax Return filing via Coretax by providing education and assistance to academic communities. The DJP encourages broader collaboration with DDTC and the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association (IKPI) to boost student and lecturer capabilities. Awards were presented to four universities and two top‑performing tax volunteers.
